ZULU King Goodwill Zwelithini
ZULU King Goodwill Zwelithini will this weekend walk his daughter Princess Ntombiyesizwe down the aisle at PONGOLA Rugby Stadium.
More than 2000 people are expected to attend the celebrations which will start on Friday night at the Royal Palace in Nongoma and end on Saturday evening in PONGOLA.
The bridegroom, Oupa Moilwa from the Hurutse Royal House in the North West, gave more than 114 cows and gifts to his Majesty as Ilobolo in 2002. More than 10 cows will be slaughtered for the wedding attended by national and provincial ministers, members of the Swazi Royal family and international guests.
Princess Ntombiyesizwe was the first member of the royal family in Zulu history to compete in a beauty contest three years ago when she entered the Miss Durban pageant. She took the second princess title.
King Goodwill Zwelithini is a previous guest of White Elephant Safari Lodge and became a friend of the Kohrs family ever since his marriage to the Princess's mother, a Swazi Princess, more that thirty years ago.
The White Elephant team wishes the royal couple a memorable day on their happiest day.
